The lights and sounds of the world famous Video Games Live is coming to KL THIS FREAKING APRIL 17th!!!!
For those who don’t know, Video Games Live is a music orchestral catered for in game music and scores. The brainchild of Video Game Composers Tommy Tallarico ( Advent Rising ) and Jack Wall ( Mass Effect 1 and 2 ), held the first VGL concert at the Hollywood Bowl in California back in July 6th 2005 and 5 years later, its coming to Malaysian soil!
Singapore had it last year, and this year, in conjunction with the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, it will be held in the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center.
Unfortunately, the writer for this piece of info is not going to be able to attend VGL since he has to stay in Japan during its tour in Malaysia, so for those who are going, have fun.

Ubisoft recently announced the details of a new system called the “Online Services Platform” and have provided a Q&A which reveals the following interesting tidbit:

Is there an “off-line” option?
No. The added services to the game (unlimited installs, online storage of saved games and the fact that you don’t need the game disc to play) require you to have an online connection while playing the game.
The Q&A reads like a Bill of Un-rights for gamers. Clearly a piracy protection measure, this move simply makes it harder for legitimate gamers to play games they’ve bought, makes it harder for them to sell them in the second hand market – and presumably will do absolutely nothing to stop pirates anyway.
Is it just me or has Ubisoft lost their mind… again… especially since the infamous “Starforce” protection which basically screwed paid customers =/

Finally the rest of the gang has gotten Tales of Valor, which its the latest expansion for Company of Heroes.
I gotta say, the ToV (Tales of Valor) pretty fun as it has 3 new modes that previous Company of Heroes games doesn’t have.
We played ‘Operations: Stonewall’ which its one of the new multiplayer modes, which its basically our “last stand”, as we defend our base while waves of enemies try to obliterate us!..
Here’s a screenshot where me, mugi, kambing and leodude being “fried” extra crispy by the damn nazis.. D;
